SP. AMB. (Dr.) USMAN AHMED ABDUL_DIMKA. The COMMANDER, EAGLE_NET SPECIAL SQUAD, DELTA STATE POLICE COMMAND. ASABA IS ONE VERY ACTIVE POLICE OFFICER FROM THE NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE AND DUE TO HIS ACTIVENESS, THE NOLLYWOOD HONOUR AWARDS ORGANIZATION DECIDED TO HONOUR HIM AT THE 10TH EDITION OF THE PRESTIGIOUS NOLLYWOOD HONOUR AWARDS HELD AT THE DELTA STATE LEISURE PACK AND FILM VILLAGE ON THE 25TH OF JANUARY 2023
SP. Amb. (Dr.) Usman Ahmed Abdul Dimka (saddled with the
Royal titles: Garkuwan Rong and Nhik Chim of Kabwir
District meaning, “The Shield/Protector of Kabwir District
Kingdom” of Plateau State) was born in Maiduguri, Borno
State on 1st October, 1971 where he attained both his Primary
and Secondary School Certificates respectively at Gwange
Primary School, Government College, Maiduguri and Army
Day Secondary School, Bida – Niger State respectively before
enlisting into the Nigeria Police Force on the 1st of September,
1992 as a Police Constable. He is a native of Rong Village,
Kabwir District in Kanke Local Government Area of Plateau
State.
2. He has served in several States of the Federation such as
Katsina, Edo, Lagos, Nassarawa, Oyo State F.C.T. Command
and is presently in Delta State Command amongst others.
3. Dimka is a graduate of Delta State University, Abraka with B.
Sc Degree in Business Administration in the year, 2010
4. He is also a Ph.D. holder from the prestigious Lviv University
of Business and Law, Ukraine where he bagged a Doctorate
degree in Public Administration among other qualifications
and disciplines.
5. He was also inducted as a Senior Fellow and Chartered
Forensic Expert in Advanced Intelligence and Forensic
Studies.
6. Attended courses in the United States as an active member of
International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).
7. CERTIFICATE OF VIP BODYGUARDS/COMBAT OPERATION
COURSE – From the prestigious Israeli Operational Security
Academy, Tel-Aviv, Israel in September, 2008 where he
emerged the best 1st – 3rd position.
8. PRESIDENT’S COMMENDATION FOR COURAGE AWARD –
For bravery courage in engaging hoodlums in series of Anti-
Robbery operations leading to the arrest of many armed
robbers and recovery of Arms while serving in Edo, Delta and
Oyo States by the President, His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck
Ebele Jonathan on 29th of April, 2013.
9. PRESIDENTIAL GOLD MEDAL AWARD FOR COURAGE – By
the Inspector-General of Police, IG M.D. Abubakar on 7th of
February, 2014.
10. WOMEN’S CHOICE AWARD AFRICA, 2019 – Security
personnel of the year in Accra, Ghana.
11. 14TH SECURITY WATCH AFRICA 2017 GOLDEN STAR
AWARD – For bravery and gallantry on Anti-Crime bursting
Police Officer in Nigeria at Accra, Ghana 8th of February,
2017.
12. 15TH SECURITY WATCH AFRICA 2018 GOLDEN STAR
AWARD – As the best crime bursting Police Officer in West
Africa at Banjul, Gambia in November, 2018.
13. 16TH SECURITY WATCH AFRICA 2019 GOLDEN STAR
AWARD – For best Anti-crime Police Officer in West and
Central Africa in Deira Creek, Dubia, United Arab Emirates
Dubai (UAE) on 7th of November, 2019.
14. 17TH SECURITY WATCH AFRICA 2022 GOLDEN STAR
AWARD – For crime fighting in West and Central Africa in
Banjul, Gambia on 9th November, 2022.
15. The Officer was also accorded commendations/award by nine
(9) different Commissioners’ of Police for his resilience in
crime bursting.
16. UNITED NATIONS EMINENT AMBASSADOR AWARD: For
recognition and contribution to human capital development in
line with MDGs on 21st of September, 2022.
17. PHILANTHROPIST OF THE YEAR: National Award of
honour by National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS)
Plateau State Chapter on 27th September, 2022.
The Officer is presently serving in Delta State Police
Command as the Commander, Eagle-Net Special Squad (An Anti-
Crime Outfit) of Delta State Command. He has attained over one
hundred and twenty one (121) Awards due to his selfless service to
mankind and also, an Associate member of the Institute of
Criminology and Penology since the year 2012. The Officer is also a
philanthropist who had in many occasions bought wheel chairs for
some cripples, adopted many orphans by sending them back to
School and is equally, paying their School fees.
