APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (EA) TO THE CHAIRMAN, PDP BAYELSA STATE

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bayelsa State, Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, has approved the appointment of Mr. Yom Omonisom as Executive Assistant (EA) to the State Chairman.

The appointment takes immediate effect.

This appointment is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the capacity of the Chairman’s office and enhance effective coordination of party activities and engagements.

Mr. Omonisom brings a wealth of experience spanning the banking sector, public service and political communication. He has served in reputable financial institutions and played key roles as spokesperson in several political campaign councils within the Peoples Democratic Party. He also previously served as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Bayelsa State and Special Adviser at the federal level, demonstrating his depth in governance and public engagement.

In his new role, he will support the State Chairman in coordinating official engagements, facilitating administrative processes and strengthening strategic communication and stakeholder relations.

The State Chairman expresses confidence in Omonisom’s competence, experience and commitment, noting that his appointment will further enhance the effectiveness of the Chairman’s office and contribute to the growth and progress of the PDP in Bayelsa State.

He urged him to discharge his duties with diligence, loyalty and a high sense of responsibility.
