BAYELSA NON-DENOMINATIONAL MUSIC FIESTA: RCCG REGION 27 YOUTH CHOIR EMERGES WINNER

It was an atmosphere of praise, unity, and vibrant musical expression as Bayelsa State played host to a remarkable Bayelsa Non-Denominational Music Fiesta that drew participants and spectators from across the state.
The event covered by TVAfrica24 Reporter, was convened and organized by Queen Elizabeth Emmanuel, Miss Nollywood Culture and Tourism, in collaboration with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bayelsa State Chapter, witnessed massive turnout and showcased the rich diversity of gospel music ministries.
Delivering remarks at the event, the Special Adviser to the Bayelsa State Governor on Religious Matters, Rev. Godspower Asinga commended the initiative, describing it as a timely platform that promotes unity among Christians irrespective of denominational differences. He further praised the Miss Nollywood Culture and Tourism for spearheading such a laudable program, noting that the impressive turnout reflected the growing relevance of faith-based cultural engagements in the state.
Also speaking, Bishop Dotimi Egbegi, who represented the CAN Chairman in Bayelsa State, Rev. Fr. Opelema Joseph, applauded the organizers for fostering spiritual harmony and encouraging youth participation through music. He emphasized the importance of unity in the body of Christ and urged continued collaboration among churches.
At the end of the keenly contested performances, RCCG Region 27 Youth Choir emerged as the overall winner, delivering a powerful and spirit-filled rendition that captivated both judges and the audience. Jesus Team Mass Choir secured the second position, while other participating choirs also gave commendable performances.
In his contribution, the President of the Miss Nollywood Organisation, who was present at the event, expressed satisfaction with the success of the program, highlighting its role in promoting gospel music and youth engagement in Bayelsa State.
The Non-Denominational Music Fiesta stands as a testament to the unifying power of music and faith, leaving attendees inspired and hopeful for future editions.
