Sarla asks Shrishti to come sit with her but she goes to Rakhi instead, Prithvi’s mother asks if they both are irritating her or if she is not feeling to sit with them. Prithvi thinks that it her routine to interfere in other people matter he is also feeling that he will go into jail and no one will come to help him, Rishab thinks what the inspector said that he was not able to find Prithvi in the cadet list, he ask Prithvi who he is, Prithvi gets tensed saying that he will not answer if he gets rude.
Rishab explains that he said he was a cadet but Rishab had the entire list checked for his name but his name was not on any list. Prithvi tries to changer the topic, He blames Rishab saying that he is doing this and his wife also tried to do the same, Rishab gets angry and they both get into a fight, it gets intense to the extent that the police hade to interfere.
Karan is being taken by the trunk to a secure location, then Raga says that there is only this one place where they can keep him as he is famous.
The police stop the quarrel so the inspector orders his men to arrest Prithvi mentioning that if he does not bring the evidence then he will stay there permanently, they also warn Rishab to remain calm as the reason he was not arrested is because they wanted to calm the quarrel.
Prithvi mother says that she has understood that Rishab has given them a lot of money to arrest Prithvi, Sarla says that she doesn’t think he can do this, his mother asks her who is her son in law as her son was the one who defended her daughter when she was being arrested, he orders them to remain calm and talk with the other inspector as he is really frustrated, they take him inside the locker room.
Preeta asks Bi jee to call someone as she is curious to know what is happening, she is about to call Shrishti but Preeta asks her to not call her as she will always say bad things about him, she tries to explain that she will only say the truth, She gets a call from Shrishti is overly joyed saying that Prithvi has been arrested and will not marry her sister, she gets tensed hearing which Preeta takes the one and when she hears that Prithvi has been arrested, she decides to go to the police station, Bio jee tries to stop her but she leaves saying that she will talk with Rishab as he might have gotten into a confusion.
Prithvi is trying to explain to his mother that there is only one person who can help him get out of jail he mentions that it is Sherlin, she says that she cannot bear it as it is her who is clever enough to get him free, she refuses to apologize to her as she cannot do it
Karan is trying to get a lift but no one is giving him any life, he searches for his mobile but is not able to find it, he sees a motorcycle and then he takes it asking to owner to come and collect it from the Luthra mansion. Preeta is running trying to get a cab but no one is ready to take her as there is a strike.
Prithvi’s mother comes bursting out at Rakhi saying that they are planning to stop the wedding, both of them get into a fight and they have a quarrel which leads to a fight between them all, Rishab asks Sarla what she thinks, Prithvi’s mother says that she also thinks the same, Rakhi explains that she will not forgive the one who is responsible for the accident of his husband, they are in a quarrel.
Sarla says that she thinks they would not have come to the wedding, Rakhi explains that she will not listen to anything as she is wrong, Rishab gets a call and leaves, it is Karina who is very excited that Mahesh got out of the come, Rishab explains the entire situation to her which angers her a lot and then she says that she will go and talk with Sarla herself.
Preeta is walking on the side questioning her decision to walk herself, then a group of boys drive by they seeing the opportunity try to tease her at first saying that they only want to help her as they are the relatives of the a politician, she suggests that they leave as her boyfriend is very dangerous and will kill them if he sees her with them.
This is Fate 18 August 2020 Update – Samer is driving the car thinking that Karan might have listened to Rishab’s conversation and gone to the police station, he calls Shrishti asking if Karan came she explains that he is not there but Rishab is acting just like him, they are against Prithvi but her mother is with Prithvi so she also got into a fight with them all, he says that he will come then she can explain the entire situation,
Prithvi’s mother comes to him, she explains that she wants to kill the women of the Luthra house, he asks her to help him so she hands the mobile at which the constaple gets angry saying that they are breaking the law, he explains that his mother is very humble and does not know how to type a message so he must let him, he agrees Prithvi then types a message which the centuple also likes, his mother is however doubtful, he explains that if he gets a reply then they can hope of getting help.
Preeta is trying to escape but they are not letting her, they then get angry and one of them says that she is looking really beautiful and so he should marry her as she is looking very beautiful, they try to force her into their car, just then Karan is passing by he sees her and gets really angry, then getting off the bike he takes the helmet and hits one of them with it knocking the unconscious, both Preeta and Karan are left shocked, she is really happy to see her, the other boys gets shocked to see him.
Preeta immediately hugs him, and is constantly crying, the group is left baffled, at what he has done.
Preeta hugs Karan, the boys say that they have now understood he was the one for whom she ran away from her wedding, Karan loses his temper, he starts a fight with them hitting each one of them one after the other, one of them points a gun at him however he takes it hitting him with it, he warns them to stay away from any girl in the future before ordering them to leave.
Preeta calls him then hugs him, she starts to remember every moment that was spent with him, she backs out asking if he is hurt, he says that he has been hurt for a long time but she has noticed it juts now, he says that he has no right to ask this from her, she says that she will and he will have to answer which is because she thought of him a lot of time, he explains that she did not have to walk out like this because she in a wedding dress and that in their society is giving invitation to trouble, she tries to explain that she thought of him but he was not there.
He gets angry saying that she should have talked in front of the goons like she is talking with him but at the Mandap she remained quiet, she understands that he was present in the wedding, when she asks him the question he denies it altogether, he answers that he will talk like this to her because she does not like him except each and everyone else, she emotionally answers that she cares for him the most.
Rakhi asks Rishab why he told each and everything to Karina as it would be better if they waited a little longer, they are talking when both Karina and Dadi arrive, she immediately asks for Prithvi but he tries to calm her down explaining that they are standing in the police station, she taunts him saying that she will first talk with Sarla and Preeta as she was the one who brought Prithvi into their lives and it was because of her that he came into their lives to the extent that he was invited to their every function.
Rishab pleads that she stop blaming Preeta for each and everything wrong that has happened in their lives, He explains that he cares for her as his friend, it is true that he is not on talking terms with her but it does not mean that he hates, saying that he is also sure she would never think of hurting his father as she loves him a lot. Karina asks why he is defending her so much and the level of concern he is showing is not that of a friend but of a lover, he also agrees to everyone’s amazement that he loves Preeta.
Maira is in her room, Kartika is curious of what she is seeing, she shows her a promo of the Serial, they both are shocked to see how wonderful it is as it contains the entire backdrop of a drama, they discus that they would have loved each other at a young age but something would have happened that has caused such extreme hatred for each other. Maira is dreaming of a lover just like him, Kartika asks if they would ever get together again, Maira answers that fights happen in love but this means that they are fond of each other, she asks her when the show is airing, Maira explains that it will air on 3rd and 7th September.
Preeta is standing in front of Karan saying that she does not hate him till he is quiet because when he starts to talk then becomes unbearable especially when he talks wrongfully of her, she says that he has not even the slightest idea for how long she waited for him but he never came. Preeta explains that she thought he would have understood that he made a mistake so would come to apologize, he refuses saying that he has no feeling of guilt so would not come to apologize, he orders her to stop this fight as it is meaningless. Karan offers to drop her off on his way, she pays no heed at which he starts to walk, upon reaching the bike he looks at her for the last time before leaving, just at the last moment Preeta stops him accepting his offer of taking a ride, Karan growns for making her take his offer.When he is riding the bike with Preeta on the backside, he remembers how he said that he hated her but could not resist helping her, Preeta takes off her hand from his shoulder which he notices. Karan and Preeta both are riding the bike, she complains that he is not riding it correctly and she has been hurting herself because of the bumps, Karan stops the bike asking her to ride it herself, she mentions that she does not know how to. Karan asks her if she has her mobile she answers that she has lost it, he starts to taunt her for being foolish but when she asks the same question he says that he is a boy and can do what he wants.Karina asks what he has just said.
Rishab explains that she heard it correctly and it is that he loves her, everyone is left shocked, he then explains that he loves her as a friend because there is no one more simple than her she has the best character and if she wants to go inside then must promise to not say anything to Preeta and her family, She gets quiet but eventually agrees to remain quiet.
Prithvi’s mother reaches where Sherlin has called her but she is now where to be found, Sherlin comes from behind surprising her which scares her, Sherlin is worried as she always used to say that she was a witch who always scaring everyone, She taunts her for saying all the bad things, but Sherlin is playing games with her, she asks her why she has called her to meet at such late hour, Sherlin forces her mother to apologize but she says that she has to hold her hands and then apologize again.
Sherlin explains that she will not save him, his mother then calls her with a lot of bad names which makes her get angry then she leaves, his mother gets emotional saying that she will make sure he gets free and will also marry Preeta because she is very suitable for her.Preeta and Karan are walking, he asks her why she is not wearing red clothes as he has heard that the devil takes away such girls who wear these type of clothes, she tries to scar her even more but she pays no heed then he screams at which She comes running to him, he explains that he is just joking.
Karan asks him why she is marrying Prithvi but has his best wishes as he respects her decision but he does not like Prithvi a bit, he is about to tell her his feelings but stops, she asks him what he meant by it, he asks her to come as they have found a car, he tries to open it but it is locked then he takes her earpin and opens the car, when it starts she comes running, she says that this is wrong and they should not do this, he says that he can manage anything because of his fame.
Dadi comes into the police station, asking Sarla why she is defending Prithvi who is behind the accident of Mahesh, Karina says that if she is defending him then this means that she is also involved with him, Shrishti asks her to stop accusing her mother as she does not want her to insult her mother. Rishab explains that the fight is not between their families saying that she must understand as she is herself very mature, Shrishti answers that she also wants Prithvi to get the punishment which he deserves as she feels he is not a good person but this does not give them the right to insult her mother.
Just then the lady inspector comes in the station saying that she does not want any sort of fight in her station, the male inspector says that the shift has changed also saying that the lady inspector will not tolerate them. She takes the charge ordering them to remain calm otherwise she will put each and every one off them in jail. She asks Sarla why is it taking so long for the proof to come, she also gives them one house to gather what they can otherwise she will throw them out of the station, This is Fate 18 August 2020
Sarla goes to the room calling Prithvi’s mother, she asks her if she taken the proof but she explains that she is just about to reach the Chachi, Sarla explains that the inspectors shift has changed so the other lady inspector has given them one hour to collect the proof otherwise the process will be shifted to the next working day, She gets emotional explaining that she will get the proof and come as soon as possible,Sarla ends the call, Karina enters the room from behind mentioning that she warned Rakhi that their family will cause a lot of problems for the Luthra house but she never listened.
Sarla says that she also said that Preeta wanted to marry Rishab however he got married to Sherlin whom Karina also liked, then she complained that Preeta wants to marry Karan however she is marrying Prithvi, Saral asks what she said that her daughter will cause problems for the Luthra house but they have been the one causing problems for them at their wedding ceremony, it is their family who are the enemies of the Auroras.
This is Fate 18 August 2020 Update ends as Sarla is about to leave when Karina says that she should marry Preeta to someone who is better than Prithvi so that she should not come back to their house, Sarla assures that she will never come back to their family house.
