CHIEF CHINEDU ARTHUR-UGWA FOUNDATION EMPATHIZES WITH FLOOD VICTIMS
…AS HE DONATES CASH GIFTS AND FOOD ITEMS TO CASUALTIES
The Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Duties/ Director General of Unified Non- Natives Bayelsa State, Chief Arthur-Ugwa Chinedu, empathized with flood victims as he distributed food items and cash gifts to all blocks that make up the Non-indigene Community in Bayelsa State.
The Community which consists of Arewa Community, Yoruba Community, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Community, and South-South Community were all represented by their leaders who he impromptly assembled after his flood assessment visits to Swali Market, Mechanic Village, Phone Village, Tombia Market, Azikoro Village, Chippings Dealers Association in Yenagoa and surrounding communities.
They were given cash gifts and other palliatives to ameliorate the ravaging economic and health conditions facing the people as a result of the negative impact created by the perennial flood.
Receiving the cash gifts and other palliatives for each of the aforementioned communities, various speakers in excitement described Chief Arthur-Ugwa Chinedu Foundation as one few humanitarian donors that have been sympathetic and depicting humanitarianism in a remarkable manner, especially now they are faced with untold hardship, they demonstrated their love and appreciation to him cheerfully. They reiterated their trust in Arthur-Ugwa Chinedu Foundation, assuring their unalloyed support and commitment to him and the Prosperity Government at large.
In his words, “No one person can actually handle the suffering and the displacement this flood has created, as he is supporting the Prosperity Government to ameliorate the ravaging flood, as this time will surely come to pass”.
Chief Chinedu Arthur-Ugwa equally extended his kind gestures to the widows of the aforementioned communities and Keke Drivers and commiserated with them.
He also call on federal government and corporate bodies to support the flood victims especially this critical period and to find a lasting solution to stop future repentance of such disaster.
They hailed the Chinedu Arthur-Ugwa Foundation for the timely intervention, prayed God to bless him more abundantly.
