Britney Spears appears to have quietly tied the knot with her long-time beau Sam Asghari.

The 40-year-old singer shared an Instagram post about baby turtles, but instead of referring to Sam as her fiance like she normally would, she for the first time, called him her husband.

“My husband Sam Asghari sent me this,” part of her latest Instagram post read.

Britney has always called Sam her fiance.

Even on Thursday, March 3, when wishing Sam a happy 28th birthday, she called him her fiance.

She wrote: “Happy Birthday to my fiance … I love you so much? … I want a family with you … I want it all with you.”

The pair have been on a romantic getaway together and Britney has been sharing videos and photos from their vacation, while referring to Sam as her fiance.

So, calling him her husband all of a sudden has sparked speculations they have tied the knot quietly.

“Husband? Did y’all get married?” one follower asked Britney.

“This is Britney telling she is married,” another commented.

Someone else wrote: “Husband? Did you get married? If so, congratulations.”

“OMG you changed your caption from fiance to ‘husband’ … girl! Yas!” another wrote.

Britney and Sam met when he appeared in her Slumber Party music video in 2016 and became engaged in September 2021.
