YEFON ABUJA TO HOST APRIL GENERAL MEETING ON ENGINEERING CAREER GROWTH

ABUJA — The Abuja Chapter of the Young Engineers Forum of Nigeria (YEFoN) has announced plans to hold its April 2026 General Meeting, with a focus on strengthening professional networks to boost engineering career advancement.

In an official invitation released by the Chapter Coordinator, Engr. Musa Ibrahim Musa, MNSE, fdc, members and stakeholders in the engineering community are encouraged to participate in the virtual gathering scheduled for Thursday, April 23, 2026, by 5:00 PM (WAT).

The meeting, themed “You Will Never Walk Alone: Building Networks to Accelerate Your Engineering Career,” is designed to equip young engineers with practical insights on the importance of collaboration, mentorship, and strategic connections in navigating today’s competitive professional landscape.

According to the organisers, the session will feature Engr. Amalate Ann-Jonathan Obuebite, Ph.D, FNSE, Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Niger Delta University, as the guest speaker. She is expected to deliver a keynote address highlighting pathways for career growth, leadership development, and opportunities within the engineering sector.

The event will be held virtually via Zoom, allowing broad participation from members across different locations. Participants are expected to engage in discussions, share experiences, and explore networking opportunities aimed at fostering professional development.

YEFoN Abuja noted that the initiative forms part of its ongoing commitment to empower young engineers through capacity building, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

Interested participants have been urged to join the meeting using the provided Zoom link, meeting ID, and passcode, as the forum continues to create platforms for innovation, growth, and collaboration within Nigeria’s engineering community.
