Often Times, We Find It Hard To Understand Why Even Those Adjudged To Be Credible Candidates Fail On Delivery Their Campaign Promises After Election. From All Indications, Perhaps They Were Milked By The People (Same People They Offered To Serve) During Campaign And Election, At The Polls In Most Cases.

Do Not Blame The gods If Your Elected Representatives Fail To Deliver On Their Campaign Promises After The Polls. Blame Yourself For Selling Your Votes And Rights. Most Electorates Are Corrupt And Mean In Nigeria. Some Had To Even Negotiate The Amount They Are To Be Paid Before Exercising Their Franchise In Various Elections. Vote Selling!

A Time Will Come In This Country Where Credible And Competent Candidates Can No Longer Win Elections If They Don’t Have Money To Spend On Electorates Irrespective Of Their Political Party. Most Electorates Believed That Nigerian Politicians Are Self-centered, Hence Election Periods Are The Only Opportunity They Have To Get Their Own Share Of “The National Cake”. Some Do Not See Transition Period As Planting Season… Yet, Elected Representatives Must Fulfill Campaign Promises And Timely.

Most Elected Representatives May Find It Difficult To Clear The Debt Incurred During Elections For The Next Four Years. The Worse Affected Are Those Who Were Unlucky At Polls After Spending Extravagantly On Some Party Stalwarts And Votes Sellers In Their Strategic Electoral Geography.

Another Elections Are Again Around The Corner. This Time, Electorates Must Be Willing To Sacrifice For Their Preferred Candidates During Polls By Helping Them To Reduce Their Spending. Electorates Should Try As Much As Possible Not To Leave Their Financial Burden For Candidates Or Prospective Candidates To Carry. That Way, They Can Have Every Moral/ Fundamental Right To Hold Them Accountable During Their Service Year.

Vent Your Thoughts, But The Opinion Is Mine!
