Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability Attends the Burial Ceremony of the mother-in-law of Dr. Dony Siga in Southern Ijaw

The Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability led by the southern ijaw coordinator on Saturday, March 7, 2026, attended the burial ceremony of the mother-in-law of Dr. Dony Siga at Inewari Community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The delegation of the movement was ably led by Chief Hon. James Alu and Miss Embiowei Debeweri, who serve as the SILGA Coordinator and Woman Leader respectively.

Also present were the Sagbama Local Government Area Coordinator, the Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area Coordinator alongside his Woman Leader, the Ogbia Woman Leader, and the Director of the Bayelsa Rescue Movement, Owei.

Among other dignitaries present at the burial ceremony was Dr. David Solomon, SA political Matters to the leader and founder of the initiative, chief Pastor Reuben Wilson.

The burial, which was held at night, saw members of the initiative remain throughout the night for wake-keeping activities in honour of the deceased.

Highlights of the visit by the Pastor Reuben Initiative included courtesy visits to Dr. Dony Siga, Hon. Stephen Bekefela, and several top functionaries of the Bayelsa State Government who also attended the ceremony.

The presence of the initiative at the ceremony underscored its commitment to solidarity, unity, and engagement with community leaders and stakeholders across Bayelsa State.
