Solomon David Picks Nomination Form for Bayelsa Assembly Race, Eyes Southern Ijaw Constituency 3
Dr. Solomon David has officially picked up his nomination form to contest for a seat in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, representing Southern Ijaw Constituency 3, signaling his entry into the forthcoming legislative race.
Speaking shortly with TvAfrica24 News after obtaining the form, David expressed strong confidence in his chances at the polls, assuring constituents of victory. He emphasized the strategic importance of Ward 13 and Ward 12, which he described as having the highest voting strength in the constituency.
According to him, Ward 13, his paternal home, and Ward 12, his maternal roots, are expected to deliver overwhelming support due to his longstanding relationship with the people and his reputation for compassion and service.
“I am confident of victory. The people know me, and they trust my leadership. My roots in Wards 13 and 12 place me in a strong position,” he stated.
Dr. David, a seasoned grassroots mobilizer, has held several notable positions across political platforms. He served as the first Bayelsa State Coordinator of the PDP Youth Alliance, the first Chief of Staff in Southern Ijaw, and the first Coordinator of the APC Youth Mass Movement.
He also worked as the Director-General of the Pastor Reuben Initiative For Good Leadership and Accountability, where he championed transparency and youth engagement in governance.
Widely regarded as a grassroots politician, David is said to enjoy significant support among constituents, with admirers describing him as a leader connected to the people and committed to inclusive development.
His declaration adds momentum to the growing political activities ahead of the Bayelsa State legislative elections, particularly in Southern Ijaw, one of the state’s politically vibrant areas.
