PASTOR REUBEN FELICITATES IGBADIWEI ON INC PRESIDENTIAL VICTORY
The Founder of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability (PRIFGLA) and Director General to High Chief Hon. Macdonald Ebi Igbadiwei, Pastor Reuben, has congratulated the President-elect of the Ijaw National Congress (INC), High Chief Macdonald Ebi Igbadiwei, on his emergence as the new leader of the apex Ijaw socio-cultural body.
In a congratulatory message issued shortly after the announcement of the election results, Pastor Reuben described Igbadiwei’s victory as a clear reflection of the confidence reposed in him by the Ijaw people, noting that the outcome of the poll signals a new dawn for the organization.
He commended the Electoral Committee of the INC for conducting what he termed a credible and transparent exercise, while also applauding delegates for their peaceful conduct throughout the process.
Pastor Reuben expressed optimism that the President-elect would bring his wealth of experience and leadership capacity to bear in repositioning the INC to effectively address the socio-economic and political aspirations of the Ijaw nation.
He further urged all stakeholders and supporters of other contestants to rally behind Igbadiwei in the interest of unity, progress, and sustainable development of the Ijaw people.
The PRIFGLA founder reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote good governance, accountability, and inclusive leadership within the Ijaw nation and beyond.
High Chief Macdonald Ebi Igbadiwei was declared winner of the keenly contested election, defeating his closest rival to emerge as the new President of the Ijaw National Congress.
