Dear Eris Paul,

My Honorable siblings, the Olotu family of Ibapolo in Peremabiri and the Otietie family of Lasuku-Ama, friends, and acquaintances.

I am writing to you all with a heart full of gratitude and immense appreciation for your unwavering support and significant contribution towards the successful funeral and burial rites of our beloved father, Chief Member Paul Olotu. Your generosity, compassion, and dedication played a pivotal role in ensuring that our father received the dignified farewell he deserved.

The journey to laying our father to rest was not without its challenges, with his remains in the mortuary for almost two years. Throughout this time, you stood by our side, offering strength, wisdom, and resources to ensure that the funeral proceedings were carried out with grace and respect. Your presence and your efforts were a source of comfort and inspiration to us all, and we are deeply grateful for your unwavering support.

I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our dear mother (Mrs Numubi Ebiyanga Member ) as well as to our other brothers and sisters, for their active participation and endless love and support during this difficult time. Together, we formed a strong and united front, supporting each other, sharing our grief, and finding solace in the shared memories of our father. Your presence and your solidarity made a world of difference to me and I am super grateful to have you all by my side.

It’ll be remiss if I did not express my unreserved gratitude to our uncles, aunts, and other extended family members, whose presence and contributions enriched the funeral proceedings. Your unwavering support and love helped us navigate through this emotional, psychological, and financially challenging period, and we are truly blessed to have such a close-knit and caring family.

To our friends and acquaintances who joined us in honoring our father’s memory and making the day glorious, I extend my deepest thanks. Your presence, kind words, and gestures of support were a source of comfort and strength, and we are touched by the outpouring of love and support we received from all directions. I lack words to express this intense admiration.
