DR. SOLOMON DAVID A LEADING ASPIRANT OF THE ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS APC SILGA CONSTITUENCY 3 HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY SEAT WITHDRAWS FROM THE RACE, SUPPORTS BOMO CENTRAL INTEREST FOR THE SAKE OF PEACE, EQUITY, JUSTICE AND FAIR PLAY AND THROWS WEIGHT BEHIND HON. DR. DONNY SIGHA FROM BOMO CENTRAL.
As the saying goes, “peace is golden”, Dr. Solomon David who doubles as the Director General (DG) Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability and a frontline aspirant of the All Progressive Congress APC in the forthcoming House of Assembly elections in Southern Ijaw Constituency 3 after a thorough political consultation with stakeholders as to the pros and cons of the justle for assention into the House of Assembly, decided to pursue peace in the stead of acrimony and rancor to promote justice and equity.
He said, he believes that the bedrock of development of a people and a region is premised on political peace, equal distribution of political power and fairness in whatever we do as a people.
He said though there is no express zoning arrangement in his constituency, however, to demonstrate what he has been preaching that is, the unity of his party the APC, cohesion of his people, loyalty and utmost respect for his party and stakeholders as determinant factors for his unregretable action of putting aside personal interest for the overall best interest of his party the APC.
He said, as the Director General of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability which is at the forefront of unifying aggrieved members and leaders of the party, what should be the best practice was to show that leadership should be by example and showing practically that unity is achievable by sacrifice.
Dr. Solomon David went further to state that his respect and loyalty for his Boss Pastor Reuben C. Wilson, party stakeholders and elders were paramount and indispensable factors in his decision making process to arrive at this turning point for the flow of peace as he believes he cannot be taller than his elders because going forward in the ladder of politics, he needs a climbing of the shoulders of his elders to see the future of his destination.
He said that, the cardinal objective of his actions is to unify all aggrieved members and establish peace in the party in his constituency and as a deliberate strategy to attract progressive development to the party to win all elections in Bayelsa State.
