Anti-Open Grazing Law: 44 cows impounded in Bayelsa

Forty-four cows have been impounded along Imiringi road, Yenagoa for violating the Bayelsa State Anti-Open Grazing Law.

The Task Force on the implementation and enforcement of the law led by the Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr. David Alagoa this afternoon in company of the security men carried out the action.

Farmers along Imiringi road near Megastar camp had raised complaints on the activities of herdsmen who used the cows to destroy their plants.
