Actors Guild of Nigeria AGN Appoints Hon. Ebipade Angiama as Sole Administrator for Bayelsa state Chapter

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) National leadership has appointed Hon. Ebipade Angiama as the Sole Administrator of its Bayelsa State chapter, pending the election of new officers of the guild.
The appointment, according to sources within the guild, is aimed at restoring administrative efficiency, fostering unity among members, and enhancing the overall growth of the acting profession in Bayelsa as the tenure of Miss. Athy Nestor Oki came to an end.
Hon. Angiama, a known stakeholder in the creative sector, is expected to oversee the affairs of the Bayelsa chapter, streamline its activities, and ensure alignment with the national body’s vision for professionalism and development in Nollywood.
In his response, the newly appointed Sole Administrator expressed appreciation to the national leadership of the guild for the trust placed in him, assuring members of his commitment to inclusive leadership and transparency.
“I will work closely with stakeholders across the state to rebuild confidence, promote unity, and ensure that the welfare of our members remains a top priority,” he said.
Industry observers note that the appointment comes at a crucial time, as the Bayelsa chapter seeks to consolidate its structure and expand opportunities for actors and creatives within the state.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria continues to play a pivotal role in representing and advancing the interests of actors nationwide, with state chapters serving as critical links in grassroots development of the film industry.
Further announcements regarding policy direction and engagement plans for the Bayelsa chapter are expected in the coming days.
