AMNESTY PHASE 2 LEADER GEN SALVATION IBENA CONGRATULATE IGBADIOWEI ON INC VICTORY
Leader and beneficiaries of Phase 2 of the Presidential Amnesty Programme Gen Ibena Salvation have extended warm congratulations to High Chief Macdonald Igbadiowei following his emergence as President-Elect of the Ijaw National Congress (INC).
In a statement issued by the National Chairman General Ibena Rufus Salvation, the group described Igbadiowei’s victory in the just-concluded election held in Yenagoa as a clear testament to his credibility, leadership capacity, and the overwhelming confidence reposed in him by the Ijaw people.
Salvation noted that Igbadiowei’s emergence comes at a critical time in the history of the Ijaw nation, expressing optimism that his leadership would usher in renewed unity, progress, and stronger representation for the people.
He further stated that the President-Elect’s wealth of experience positions him to reposition the INC for greater impact and relevance within the Niger Delta and beyond.
Reaffirming their commitment to peace, development, and sustained progress in the region, the Amnesty Phase 2 leadership pledged their full support and cooperation to the incoming INC administration.
The statement also offered prayers for divine wisdom, strength, and guidance for Igbadiowei as he prepares to assume office, expressing confidence in his ability to lead the organization to greater heights.
