Some of us have been proponents of this idea, and no one has attempted to mediate between the govt and the people to find a lasting solution, rather it has been use of brute force.
But the move by High Chief Oweizidei Ekpemupolo to unite everybody is a welcome initiative.

For some us, we have embraced it, we believe this will give birth to modular refineries and other benefits that will not be harzardous to our environment and health.
The goal was never to be an enemy of the state, but for our oil producing people to enjoy the benefits of the land.

The person that has been contracted for this job is our leader, father and Spiritual head, a man who has selflessly served Ijaw Nation, we believe in him, we know he would never involve in anything that will cause disunity in Ijaw land, therefore, for his sake, we will support him.
