UNIFIED NON-NATIVES RECEIVE LATE DEPUTY GOVERNOR’S BURIAL CLOTHS, COMMENCE DISTRIBUTION

The Unified Non-Natives Association, Bayelsa State Chapter, has received burial cloths from the family of the late Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, as part of activities leading to his burial rites.

The burial materials, comprising 40 pieces , were officially received by the Director-General of the Unified Non-Natives Association, Chief Hon. Chinedu Arthur-Ugwa, on behalf of the association.

According to details made available to the press, Chief Arthur-Ugwa immediately commenced the distribution of the burial cloths to various leaders of the association, including community heads, ethnic nationality coordinators, and representatives of different tribes resident in Bayelsa State.

It was further gathered that while some of the burial cloths were sent out to beneficiaries through organized channels, others were personally received and distributed from the residence of the Director-General to ensure fairness, accountability, and proper documentation of the process.

Speaking on the development, Chief Hon. Chinedu Arthur-Ugwa, Director-General of the Unified Non-Natives Association, described the gesture from the bereaved family as a mark of appreciation and unity, stressing that the association remains committed to transparent leadership and inclusive representation.

Members of the Unified Non-Natives Association have since commended the Director-General for what they described as an open and transparent distribution process, noting that it reflects the values of accountability and trust which the association upholds.

The Unified Non-Natives Association, Bayelsa State Chapter, continues to actively participate in burial-related activities in honour of the late Deputy Governor, in solidarity with the bereaved family and the government and people of Bayelsa State.
