Turnah Pays Condolence Visit to Ekpeye Monarch Over Wife’s Death

The Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State and Zonal Secretary of the party, George Turnah, has paid a condolence visit to the traditional ruler of Ekpeye Kingdom, Eze Dixon Odoyi, following the passing of his beloved wife, Queen Phebi Dixon Odoyi.

Turnah visited the monarch at Edeoha Town in Ahoada East Local Government Area, where he commiserated with the royal family and the entire Ekpeye Kingdom over the painful loss.
Speaking during the visit, Turnah described the late queen as a compassionate and devoted woman who lived a life of kindness, service, and unwavering love for Christ and humanity. He noted that her exemplary life and motherly role touched many people within the community and beyond.
He further stated that Queen Phebi Dixon Odoyi was not only a supportive partner to the revered monarch, Eze Ukaume I of Ekpeye land, but also a mother figure whose warmth and generosity endeared her to many.
Turnah prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and asked God to grant the monarch, the royal family, and all those she left behind the strength and comfort to bear the loss.
The visit formed part of ongoing expressions of sympathy and solidarity from political leaders, community stakeholders, and well-wishers mourning the late queen.
