TURNAH CONGRATULATES DR. PETER AKPE, SAYS BAYELSA WILL BENEFIT FROM HIS EXPERIENCE AS NEW DEPUTY GOVERNOR
The Zonal Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), South South Zone, and Acting Chairman of the PDP in Bayelsa State, Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, heartily congratulates Dr. Peter Akpe on his swearing-in as the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State.
Hon. Turnah describes Dr. Akpe’s emergence as a well-earned elevation, reflecting his years of dedicated service, administrative experience, and loyalty to the state. He notes that the new Deputy Governor has consistently demonstrated competence, humility, and a deep understanding of governance, qualities that will greatly complement the leadership of the state.
While wishing him success in his new role, Hon. Turnah expresses confidence that Dr. Akpe will bring renewed energy, inclusiveness, and strategic support to the administration of Governor Douye Diri. He adds that the people of Bayelsa look forward to a strengthened partnership in governance that will accelerate development and promote peace, unity, and prosperity across the state.
“Your swearing-in marks another important chapter in the political and developmental journey of our dear state. I am confident that your wealth of experience and calm disposition will greatly enhance service delivery and deepen the dividends of democracy to our people.”
He further urges the new Deputy Governor to remain steadfast, people-oriented, and committed to policies and programmes that uplift the grassroots and consolidate the achievements of the present administration.
Hon. Turnah prays for God’s wisdom, strength, and good health upon Dr. Akpe as he assumes the responsibilities of his new office, expressing optimism that his tenure will be impactful and beneficial to the people of Bayelsa State.
