As Nigeria tackles the Coronavirus pandemic, many approaches have been taken personally. Individuals use different approaches of safety to tackle the spread which has already hit about 8 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja with confirmed 51 cases Thursday evening.
Today, the Honourable Minister, @Fmohnigeria convened a live press briefing to update Nigerians on the ongoing response to the COVID19 outbreak in Nigeria.
As at 26th March 2020, there have been 51 cases of #COVID19 recorded in Nigeria. 2 have been discharged with 1 death.
These cases are as follows; Lagos- 32, FCT- 10, Ogun- 3, Ekiti- 1, Oyo- 1, Edo- 1, Bauchi-1, Osun-1 and recently Rivers state confirmed 1 case.’

As the price of safety materials go higher by the day making it harder for the common man to purchase, they also do not relent to improvise.
From our check, in town and social media people use materials ranging from waterproof to clothing material to get a facemask to fight the Coronavirus. For sanitizer which is now sold from N1800 to N3500, people are now using local gin to sanitize their hands.
