The Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN) Bayelsa Chapter celebrates the *2025 International Day of the Boy Child*

Theme: “Building Self-Esteem in Boys: Stand Up, Be Heard, Be Seen”

The event will showcase lectures by experts on the following:
– *Abstinence from Substance and Drugs*: Educating boys on the dangers of substance abuse and promoting healthy lifestyle.
– *Personal Hygiene*: Emphasizing the importance of maintaining good personal hygiene habits for overall well-being.

These lectures aim at empowering our boys with confidence and self-esteem, enabling them to express themselves effectively, asserting themselves, and fostering a positive self-image.
Secondly, the boys will be educated on the importance of abstinence from substances and drugs as well as developing good personal hygiene practices.
