In a tweet, she indicated that the name was given to her by her lovely fanbase called the elites. Hence, it is trademarked and belongs to her alone. The fans of the lover of kiddwaya gave her the name after she got disqualified from the bbnaija house.

Recall her disqualification came up after she had three strikes from her beef with Laycon over a kissing fracas. To her fans, they crowned her the Star Girl because everything in the season five-season show was Erica. She was involved in a fracas because Laycon alleged she tried kissing him one night.
