SEYI TINUBU LAUNCHES NEW GRASSROOTS MOVEMENT TO GALVANISE SUPPORT FOR BAT 2027, APPOINTED HON. OGBOMO FORTUNE EREPAMOWEI AS BAYELSA COORDINATOR

Seyi Tinubu, Founder-in-Chief, has launched another grassroots-based political support group aimed at mobilising nationwide backing for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The movement, aptly named “Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria,” is designed to deepen citizen engagement at the community level while amplifying the administration’s reform agenda across states and local government areas.
As part of the rollout, Hon. Ogbomo Fortune Erepamowei has been officially appointed as the Bayelsa State Coordinator, a move stakeholders describe as strategic, given his grassroots reach and growing influence in the state’s political landscape.
Speaking during the announcement, organisers said the group would focus on people-oriented advocacy, policy communication, and grassroots mobilisation, especially among youths, artisans, traders, and rural communities who are directly impacted by ongoing economic and social reforms.
“The idea is simple but powerful,” a member of the national coordinating team said. “It is about reassuring Nigerians, particularly at the grassroots, that the reforms may be tough now, but they are geared towards long-term national stability and prosperity.”
Hon. Erepamowei, in his acceptance remarks, pledged to build an inclusive and vibrant structure across Bayelsa State, cutting across wards and communities. He assured supporters that the group would operate peacefully, lawfully, and with a strong emphasis on civic education and constructive engagement.
Political observers note that the emergence of “Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria” signals a renewed push to consolidate grassroots support for President Tinubu, especially in the Niger Delta region, as alignments and early mobilisations for 2027 begin to take shape.
The launch adds to a growing list of citizen-driven initiatives positioning themselves in support of the Tinubu administration, underscoring the increasing role of non-party grassroots movements in Nigeria’s evolving political landscape.
