Reuben Wilson Graces Chief Douglas-Naingba’s 70th Birthday Celebration in Bayelsa

Member of the Governing Council of the University of Uyo and National Leader/Founder of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability, Chief Hon. Reuben C. Wilson, on Saturday joined dignitaries and well-wishers to celebrate the 70th birthday of elder statesman Chief Douyi Alfred Douglas-Naingba.
The colourful celebration took place at the Banquet Hall of the Government House Yenagoa, drawing prominent political leaders, traditional rulers, community stakeholders and friends from across the Niger Delta who gathered to honour the respected celebrant for his decades of service and contributions to society.
Wilson, who is also the Ebimiewei I of Kolu-ama Clan, described Chief Douglas-Naingba as a man of integrity and wisdom whose life has positively impacted many people within and beyond Bayelsa State. He noted that attaining the milestone of 70 years is a testament to a life of dedication, leadership and community service.
Guests at the event commended the celebrant for his enduring legacy, recalling his role in promoting unity, peace and development within the region.
The celebration featured tributes, goodwill messages and cultural displays as family members, associates and admirers gathered to celebrate the life and achievements of Chief Douglas-Naingba on his platinum jubilee birthday.
