A good leadership advocate and a former deputy governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu has been scheduled to speak at the Oct 1 Nigeria Youth Decide conference taking place at Sheraton Hotel Abuja.

Co-convener of the campaign, Dr. Utchay Odims had on Wednesday led a high-powered delegation to a visit to Prof. Moghalu in his Abuja home.

The conference seeks to create a forum for the Nigerian young men and women to have an interface with the presidential candidates in the upcoming 2023 general elections.

The organisers say there will be a paradigm shift from the era when political leaders decide what to do for the populace, stating that the forum will avail Nigerian youth opportunity to tell the politicians what they want.

Receiving the delegation, Prof. Moghalu expressed delight that Nigerian young population are making frantic efforts to play a critical role in their governance structure.

According to him, the vision of the conveners of this conference aligns with his position that the youths constituting over 70 per cent of the entire Nigerian population can decide their choice of leadership.

Contributors at the gathering, Co-convener Desmond Agboola, Mr Paul, Kingsley Agboola and Lady Doris were all in agreement that Nigeria youth have what it takes to entrench the Nigerian nation they desire.

The event is expected to have in attendance presidential candidates of All Progressives Congress, APC Bola Tinubu, his PDP counterpart, Atiku Abubakar, NNPP’s Musa Kwankwaso, Young Progressive Party’s Prince Malik Ado Ibrahim, Peter Obi of the Labour Party and many more.
