Prince Doodei Week PhD bids Farewell to Izon Hero/Father

“Yesterday, Prince Doodei Week PhD bids farewell to a giant, a titan of our time, Chief Senator Edwin Kiagbodo Clark. As Chairman of the INC Central Zone, the Tarakiri Royal Prince eulozed the legacy of the Izon hero, a colossus whose impact will be deeply felt now and in the future.

Martin Luther’s words resonate profoundly at a time like this: “A man dies when he could not speak the truth when needed.” Yet, Pa E.K. Clark’s life defied this fate. He stood tall against oppression, war, and silence, his voice echoing through generations like a mighty waters through the sands of time. His passing, at the right age and time, is a reminder of his greatness and legacy achievements.

The Iroko tree, a symbol of strength and protection, aptly describes Chief Clark’s stature. Like the tallest tree in the forest, he shielded and defended his people, providing solace and guidance. His absence leaves a void, and the Izon Nation mourns the loss of a legend.

According to the Tarakiri Prince, this is no time to mourn but to count the gains of his legacies and live by those espoused values among them were patriotism and dignity.

“As we say our final goodbyes, I pay my respects to a man who has become a deity in our midst. Chief Pa Clark’s legacy will continue to inspire and motivate us, even as we grapple with the shock of his passing” he said.
