PDP Bayelsa State Announces New Appointment; Approves Reconstitution of New Media Team
The Acting State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Bayelsa State, Mr. George Turnah, MON, has approved the appointment of Mr. Toruyokotie Godspower Esq. as Director General of the PDP Bayelsa State New Media Team, effective from 1st June 2025.
Mr. Godspower, a dedicated legal practitioner with over ten years of post call experience, hails from Sabagreia in the Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. He is also an accomplished author and an unwavering member of the PDP. His extensive background in new media practices, combined with his exceptional communication skills, positions him as an invaluable asset to the party.
The Acting State Chairman is hopeful that Mr. Godspower will deploy his abilities to deliver innovative strategies that will effectively engage the public and enhance the party’s presence across digital platforms.
In addition to this significant appointment, the Acting State Chairman has also approved the immediate reconstitution of the Bayelsa State PDP New Media Team comprising of members drawn from across the 8 Local Government Areas (LGAs), as well as representatives from the non indigene community in the State. It is the Chairman’s belief that the reconstitution of the State PDP New Media Team will not only be beneficial to the party but will also serve as a vital avenue for public engagement, critical for the effective governance and administration of the PDP in the State.
