PASTOR REUBEN EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDES BATCH A, STREAM 2 PROGRAMME AT NOVENA UNIVERSITY, DELTA STATE

The Pastor Reuben Educational Scholarship Scheme has successfully concluded the Batch A, Stream 2 phase of its academic support programme at Novena University, Ogume, Delta State, marking yet another significant milestone in its commitment to expanding educational opportunities for Nigerian youths.
This closing ceremony also witnessed the emergence of the first and second edition champions of the Pastor Reuben Quiz and Debate Competition. The outstanding students who secured the winner and first runner-up positions were recognised in alignment with the Scheme’s 2024 pledge to reward exemplary academic performance, intellectual engagement, and leadership potential.
Established by Pastor Reuben Clifford Wilson, the Scholarship Scheme stands as a cornerstone of the Pastor Reuben Initiative’s mission to promote access to quality education, empower promising youths, and foster national development through human capital investment. Over the years, the initiative has consistently provided financial assistance, mentorship, and academic motivation to deserving students across various tertiary institutions.
Speaking during the event, the leadership of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability (PRIFGLA) congratulated all beneficiaries of the Scheme and encouraged them to continue demonstrating academic diligence, personal discipline, and moral uprightness. Students were further urged to embody the values of leadership, service, and responsibility as true ambassadors of the Initiative’s vision for youth empowerment and purposeful nation-building.
In a moving testimony, one of the parents who accompanied the team to Novena University expressed profound appreciation and admiration for the remarkable support extended to her family through the Pastor Reuben C. Wilson Foundation, noting the life-changing impact of the opportunities provided under the Scholarship Scheme.
PRIFGLA reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to sustaining programmes that promote educational excellence, youth development, and equitable access to learning opportunities across Nigeria.
