PAP Phase 2 Leader Hails Pondi, Tantita on Police Excellence Award
The National Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) Phase 2, Ibena Rufus Salvation, has congratulated Sir Godfrey Tare Pondi, General Manager Operations of Tantita Security Services Limited, following his recent Award of Excellence from the Inspector General of Police.
He also said that the award celebrates Pondi’s outstanding contributions to the fight against oil theft and the protection of Nigeria’s critical national assets.
In a congratulatory message on Tuesday, Salvation described the honour as a reward for Pondi’s leadership and commitment to securing the country’s natural resources.
He noted that the recognition from the Nigerian Police Force highlights the strong collaboration between private security companies like Tantita and government agencies in ensuring safety across oil-producing areas.
He further praised Tantita Security Services for its tireless work in tackling crude oil theft and vandalism in the Niger Delta, adding that the award is proof of the courage and resilience the team has shown under Pondi’s leadership.
Salvation also encouraged the Tantita team not to relent in their mission. He said the award should inspire them to keep supporting national security efforts and helping safeguard Nigeria’s economic future.
“I am proud of the professionalism and determination your team has shown. This honour from the Nigerian Police Force only affirms your contributions to national security and economic growth”, he said.
