OEB Political Family, Bayelsa City Boy Movement to Clash in Novelty Match for Osomkime Blankson’s Birthday
YENAGOA – As part of activities marking the birthday celebration of renowned political leader and philanthropist, His Highness Barr. Osomkime Edwin Blankson, members of the OEB Political Family will engage the Bayelsa State City Boy Movement State Executive Council in a novelty football match on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
The friendly encounter, scheduled to kick off at 10:30 a.m., will take place at the 7th Signature Football Pitch along New Bayelsa Palm Road, Yenagoa.
According to the organisers, the novelty match is designed to celebrate Barr. Blankson’s life and contributions while promoting unity, friendship, and healthy competition among political associates and supporters.
The event is expected to attract political stakeholders, friends, supporters, and admirers of the celebrant, who have been encouraged to turn out in large numbers to witness the entertaining showdown and join in celebrating an exceptional leader.
