Nigeria records 649 new cases of COVID-19, toll hits 22,020
The Nigeria Center For Disease Control has confirmed 649 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24hours. This report was published through its official Twitter page Wednesday night at about 11:23pm.
According to the Center, the new confirmed cases of 649 has brought the total number of cases to 22,020 since the outbreak of the disease in Nigeria.
And the report has shown that out of a total of 22,020, the management treated and discharged 7,613 persons across the country. And also 542 deaths occurred during this period.
With the new report, Lagos state recorded 250 cases, while Oyo recorded 100. Others are Plateau-40, Delta-40, Abia-28, Kaduna-27, Ogun-22, Edo-20, Akwa Ibom-18, Kwara-17, FCT-17, Enugu-14, Niger-13, Adamawa-13, Bayelsa-7, Osun-6, Bauchi-6, Anambra-4, Gombe-3, Sokoto-2 Imo-1 and Kano state with a single case recorded.
