The leadership of the National Association of Presidential Amnesty Students worldwide (NAPASW) has described Maj. Gen. Ndioumu Tariye Barry (Rtd) as a seasoned administrator equipped with the character strength of leadership, teamwork, open-mindedness, integrity, persistence, bravery, curiosity, love of learning, social intelligence, fairness, creativity and self-regulation.

In a congratulatory statement issued in Yenagoa, the President of the National Association of Presidential Amnesty Students worldwide, Mr. Patrick Ipidei, thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing Major Gen Ndioumu Tariye Barry (rtd), saying that the students community would work with him to achieve set goals for the programme.

The statement also applauded the innovations brought to bear on the programme by the immediate past Interim Administrator, Col. Millan Dixon Dikio (rtd) saying that he served the nation meritoriously and therefore deserves accolades for the great precedence he created while in office.

Mr. Ipidei noted that Maj. Gen Ndioumu Tariye Barry (Rtd) served in the Nigerian Army in different capacities without any blemish and wished that he brings his wealth of experience in the military to bear on his new national assignment.

The National President expressed confidence that the newly appointed Interim Administrator (IA) will effectively and efficiently deliver on the mandate of the programme in the discharge of his responsibilities to sustain the peace in the Niger Delta Region.
