MY LITTLE STORY/JOURNEY IN POLITICS:

In the year 1999, i joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) until 2010/2011 after the Governorship Primaries of the party *(PDP)* that produced Senator.Henry Seriake Dickson, to contest the Gubernatorial election in 2012.

I immediately left the Party (PDP) and joined ACTION CONGRESS OF NIGERIA (ACN) as i was bent on contesting that election (Bayelsa-State Gubernatorial election) alongside Senator Dickson, Chief Kubor, Barr. Kemela Okara, Famous Daenemugha, Comrade Akiki Aprala and others.

While in ACN, i attended and participated in the 2011 ACN- Kogi State Rally at Lokoja Township Stadium FOR ABUBAKAR AUDU, and All ACN Governors were present and the then National Chairman of (ACN) ELDER BISI AKANDE And our NATIONAL LEADER ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU, Who is today Nigeria’s President were on ground as well to give support to the party and Abubakar AUDU in person.

The MC of that occasion was Senator DINO MELAYE, Who did a good job, as his voice was very Loud and Vocal to the crowded Rally.
As one who joined the Party (ACN) few months to the Bayelsa-State Gubernatorial election primaries of the party ACN and other parties
I then contacted HON. COMRADE MIRIKI EBIKIBINA, Who was then the NATIONAL YOUTH LEADER of (ACN), After Comrade TIIMI FRANK resigned as the National Youth Leader of ACN.

Comrade MIRIKI EBIKIBINA was the one who took me by hand to introduce to the National Leadership of the party at the Kogi Township Rally, Lokoja for Abubakar AUDU in 2011.

I networked to see how i could be given the BAYELSA-STATE Governorship Ticket as the primaries was few weeks ahead, but, was advised to withdraw and Deputize Barr. Kemela Okara. Unknowingly to the National party Leadership, i am from the same Local government with Barr. Kemela Okara (Yenagoa Local government Area).

Well, it was very clear to me that Barr. Kemela Okara had an upper hand at the National level of the party and he is most likely to win the forthcoming primaries of the party (ACN) for the Bayelsa Gubernatorial primary election.

Upon my return to Yenagoa-City from that trip, i called on the State Leadership of the party (ACN) and announced to them of my exit from ACN and joined APGA and got the ticket of APGA, i immediately held an emergency meeting with the state Leadership of APGA in the state and i took over the party Leadership and i was invited to Abuja by the National Leadership of APGA under the Leadership of CHIEF VICTOR UMEH as NATIONAL CHAIRMAN and ALHAJI SHINKAFI as National Secretary respectively.

In that my first meeting with the APGA NATIONAL LEADERSHIP i was assured that i will return unopposed, after listening to my call to Service address, that was how i emerged as the Candidate of APGA as other aspirants withdrew and i was returned unopposed. In the General Election, i came out 5th, out of 24 Candidates who participated in that election.

While in APGA i was equally invited to IMO STATE GOVERNMENT HOUSE by Former Governor ROCHAS OKOROCHA on a lovely Sunday afternoon, Who was the then Governor of IMO state and Dr. Peter Obi was the APGA Governor of Anambra State respectively. After the gubernatorial election in 2012, and in 2013 I returned back to PDP and in 2023 I became a card carrying Member of the All Progressives *Congress *(APC) and worked for ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED* TINUBU CandidatureCandidature and subsequent Victory at the Polls.
