With the commencement of the second phase of her pet project just around the corner, current Miss Nollywood International, Queen Karina Simon, has paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Prof. Steve Azaiki, OON, member House of Representative for Yenagoa-Kolokuma/Opokuma Federal Constutency.
The winner of the 2021/22 edition of the Prestigious Miss Nollywood Beauty Pageant Queen Karina Simon during the visit said her mission was to intimate the lawmaker of her programs, which include series of humanitarian projects geared towards actualising the purpose behind the pageant.
She emphasized that being the winner of a beauty pageant goes far beyond wearing a crown, as according to her, “I want to be a role model to young girls desiring to win beauty pageants.”
“I believe it is extremely important to give back to the community and nation who voted me to become the winner as the Current Miss Nollywood international 2021/22.”
Queen Karina who is a Graduate of philosophy from the Niger Niger University (NDU) immediately after winning the Crown in her first three months in office embarked on skill acquisition programs where over fifty young persons were trained in different areas of interest.
In his response, Professor Steve Azaiki (OON), appreciated Queen Karina Simon for her passion towards the growth and betterment of youths in the society as a beauty queen, adding that beauty queens can lend their voices to preach the gospel of peace in society.
He assured her of his readiness to support the second the phase of her pet project since she has performed credibly well.
