TODAY’S OUTLINE: MFM Daily Devotional 5th November 2020

One of the beauties of spiritual warfare is taking your place as a warrior and commanding evil to bow. This is what we are looking at in today’s devotional session. A man of God went to a country to preach at a revival. At night, he just noticed that he felt heavy and it seemed as if a cold sensation was passing through the whole of his body.

He opened his eyes and behold, what did he see? It was the devil himself standing before him. The devil told him that he was a troublemaker leaving his country to come and cause trouble in another land. The devil then moved closer to deal with him there and then.

The man of God said that something like fear struck his soul like lightening. Immediately that happened, he said that his hands and feet began to get cold. Then, he stopped being afraid. He wanted to talk but the cold had blocked his mouth. His mouth could not open again.

But then, something began to swell up from the inside of him. Thereafter, the thing started to move within him and, by the time it moved to his mouth, he began to pray in tongues. Immediately he began to pray in tongues, he could see fear in the eyes of the devil.

The devil was getting scared; so the man continued speaking in tongue. As he prayed louder, the devil told him that the man of God would be left alone for sometime. Then, the devil walked out. The man of God would have died if that fear had continued.

Beloved, fear is a modern plague; and the devil is using it tremendously and very successfully too, against Christians. The common declaration of the scriptures is that evil shall bow.Your enemies shall be subjected to repeated summersaults until their entire bones are broken.

Beloved, as soon as you claim and maintain your command or position as a warrior, evil shall bow!

Memory Verse: Revelation 3:9 “Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.”

Motivational Quote: The richest place on earth is the cemetery because there are dead talents, virtues, skills and potentials there untapped.

Prophetic Word: It is your turn to laugh by the power of the blood of Jesus.

HYMN: Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored,
He has loosed the fateful lightening of His terrible swift sword
His truth is marching on.

Refrain:
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
His truth is marching on.

I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps
They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps
I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps
His day is marching on.

Refrain

I have read a fiery gospel writ in burnished rows of steel,
“As ye deal with my contemners, So with you my grace shall deal;”
Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with his heel
Since God is marching on.

PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING:
1. I receive fresh energy, fresh fire, fresh power into every organ of my body, in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, dispatch Your heavenly surgeons to work upon my life, and make impossible possible, in the name of Jesus.
3. By the power of the God of Elijah, let uncommon breakthroughs manifest in my life, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING:
1. Let the Prince of Peace speak peace unto every storm in my life, in the name of Jesus.
2. God arise, with your healing power and visit me, in the name of Jesus.
3. Every altar of affliction of sickness, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
4. Any curse or covenant, that is aiding sickness in my life, be broken by the power in the blood of Jesus.
