TODAY’S OUTLINE: MFM Daily Devotional 12th November 2020

A lot of serious believers are looking for what to do in order to survive in these perilous times. One day, a certain brother who had just finished a seven-day dry fast in which he prayed for all kinds of breakthroughs, was coming back home after work. He had to pass through a security checkpoint, as he had been doing for almost 15 years.

He did not know that his prayers had annoyed the enemy. As he was going, the security man shouted at him, “Stop! What do you think you are doing? Where are you going?” This was a man who knew him very well. Before this brother could say, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ the security man had cocked his gun and was about to shoot him.

As he looked at the face of this security man, it seemed as if a demon spirit had possessed him; and he could see the wickedness and rage in his eyes. Initially , he was angry. But on second thought, he started praying and pleading the blood of Jesus. He then prayed thus, “By the blood of Jesus, I arrest every violent spirit that has taken over this man, in the name of Jesus.”

And suddenly, the security man calmed down and said, “You can pass.” He then went away. If he had not handled the situation with that spirit of discernment, he would have ended up as mincemeat in the mouth of the enemy. The duty of a pastor is not just putting a collar on his neck and matching up and down. It is a serious work.

There is the story of a certain girl that the enemy had marked for killing. She arrived late at to the airport and so missed her flight. The airplane that she had missed crashed and everybody in it died. Her parents were crying, thinking that she was dead. They rushed to the office of the airline to know what happened.

But as they went through the manifest, they found out that she was not on board; and so they started rejoicing. But what was tragic was that when she missed the flight, she went and took the train which also crashed and she died. That was the rampage of the enemy in action. The devil knows that he has a short time. You need to pray for divine intervention.

Memory Verse: Psalm 95:10 “Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:”

Motivational Quote: There are deep and hidden purpose of God that only a prayerful search can reveal.

Prophetic Word: If your name is in the belly of any serpent, may the belly burst now in the name of Jesus.

HYMN: I Come To The Garden Alone

I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses.

Refrain:
And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.

He speaks, and the sound of His voice,
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.

I’d stay in the garden with Him
Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling.

PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING:
1. Every power keeping me away from my divine helpers, die, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every power blocking my opportunities, scatter, in the name of Jesus.
3. Every power assigned to be delaying my divine time and appointments, die, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING:
1. Every spirit of misfortune and failure, die, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every blindness to good opportunities, die, in the name of Jesus.
3. Every entrenched bad luck and failure, die, in the name of Jesus.
4. Every evil priest ministering failure against my life at any evil altar, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.
