Agency Unveils Players For Peace Charity Football Match Holding On Sunday

The full list of football players expected to participate in Peace Charity Football Match holding Sunday June 11 In Abuja, has been unveiled.

The sporting exercise will take place at the Turf Arena Sports Centre Wuse 2 Abuja, a game is geared towards promoting peace through dialogue and entertainment.

The organizers, Peace Ambassador Agency Worldwide and 100 Most Notable Peace Icons, the full list shortly after a tour of the football pitch.

The founder of Peace Ambassador Agency, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe in a chat with newsmen said the football match is open for all those interested in strengthening peace in the country.

He said, “We set out to bring everyone who sought to play a role in promoting peace and justice to meet on the football pitch which serves as a neutral venue whilst also encouraging sportsmanship by all and sundry.

“Peace Ambassador Agency is of the opinion that violence is not the way forward at all, we must sort out our differences through dialogue instead, violence must never plays a role in any form or shape during the crisis”, he stated.

He praised the success recorded during the organisation’s novel edition of Peace Charity Football Match.

It had in attendance political office holders, appointees, celebrities from various fields, business moguls and a host of other notable Nigerians, Amafibe stated.

He said the upcoming Peace Charity Football Match will serve as a medium to ramp up support for youth participation in the elections, expressing dissatisfaction that youths have not been largely represented in government despite Nigeria being a very youthful nation.

Peace Ambassador Agency shall he added will continue to play a crucial role in peace promotion through new and innovative methodologies that will ensure its unique message reaches all corners of our dear country Nigeria.
