*Kogi East Youths Warn Governor Ododo Against Backing ‘Third-Term Agenda’*

KOGI EAST YOUTH STAKEHOLDERS has called on the Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, not to support any alleged third-term agenda being promoted by the Senator representing Kogi East, warning that reinforcing failure could negatively affect the fortunes of the party in the region.

The group stated that recycling politicians who are not accessible and are not people-oriented would only lead to setbacks for the party. According to the group, leaders who are disconnected from the grassroots should not be imposed on the people.

KOGI EAST YOUTH STAKEHOLDERS also urged the Governor not to allow individuals outside Kogi State to dictate political decisions for the state, stressing that the only acceptable path is to allow party members and the people to freely choose their preferred candidate.

The group maintained that a free and fair primary election remains the best democratic option, adding that loyal party members who have actively participated in party activities over the years should be given the opportunity to contest, rather than imposing total strangers on the people.

In strong terms, the group warned Governor Ododo against taking any action that could lead to the failure of the APC in Kogi East.
