The Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa State Command, CP Alonyenu Francis Idu, has received a delegation from the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, Kaduna State.
The 52-member team, led by the Director of Administration, Brigadier General E. A. Orakwe, visited the command for a strategic engagement with the Nigeria Police Force, on Tuesday, 6th May, 2025.
The visit was part of an inter-agency collaboration initiative aimed at broadening the professional perspectives of the Senior Course participants. The session provided a platform for the exchange of ideas and best practices in policing and internal security operations.
A key highlight of the visit was a thought-provoking address by CP Alonyenu Francis Idu, titled “Harnessing Grassroots Intelligence for Enhanced Internal Security,” which underscored the importance of community-based intelligence gathering in maintaining peace and order.
