INC CHAPTER CHAIRMEN BACK MACDONALD IGBADIWEI PRESIDENCY

Chairmen of various chapters of the Ijaw National Congress (INC), including Abuja, Lagos, Akure, and Benin, have expressed heartfelt appreciation to the President General of INC, High Chief Macdonald Igbadiwei, following the presentation of brand-new buses to their chapters.

The chapter leaders described the gesture as unprecedented, noting that it is the first of its kind since the inception of the INC. They commended the new President for his visionary leadership and commitment to strengthening the organization and improving the welfare of its structures.

They further pledged their total support and unwavering commitment to fully back the administration of High Chief MacDonald Igbadiwei in moving the Ijaw nation toward greater peace, unity, and progress.

The chairmen through their spokes man, Lagos Chapter Chairman, Mr. Tonye Leonard Harry also used the opportunity to call on all stakeholders and key players within the INC to support the new President and work collectively for the interest of the Ijaw nation. According to them, High Chief MacDonald Igbadiwei did not emerge as INC President by chance, but through a transparent process.

They emphasized that he is an Ijaw son from Gbaraun, Southern Ijaw Local Government Area, who diligently went through every stage of the process and was among the candidates that consulted most widely across the Ijaw nation in seeking the mandate.

They urged all aggrieved persons and supporters of other interests to put aside differences and unite behind the new leadership for the collective growth, peace, and advancement of the Ijaw nation.
