HON. WILSON DAUYEGHA CELEBRATES SEN. SERIAKE DICKSON AT 60

Yenagoa — A former Member representing Ekeremor Constituency II and Deputy Minority Leader of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Wilson Ayakpo Dauyegha, has joined prominent leaders, associates and well-wishers to celebrate former Governor of Bayelsa State and Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, as he marks his 60th birthday.

In a congratulatory message made available to the press, Hon. Dauyegha described Senator Dickson as an outstanding Ijaw leader, a seasoned administrator and a committed democrat whose life has been dedicated to the service of Bayelsa State and Nigeria at large.

He commended the former governor for his transformational leadership during his tenure as Bayelsa State’s Chief Executive, noting that Dickson’s administration laid enduring foundations in education, infrastructure, healthcare and human capital development across the state.

Hon. Dauyegha further highlighted Senator Dickson’s continued relevance in national politics, describing him as a strong voice for the Niger Delta and the Ijaw nation in the National Assembly, whose legislative contributions and advocacy have continued to inspire younger generations of leaders.

“Sixty years is a milestone worthy of celebration. Senator Seriake Dickson has consistently demonstrated courage, vision and commitment to good governance. Bayelsans are proud of his achievements and enduring legacy,” the lawmaker stated.

He prayed for good health, strength and wisdom for the former governor as he continues to serve the people, while wishing him many more fruitful years in service to humanity.

Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, a former two-term governor of Bayelsa State, clocks 60 amid widespread goodwill messages from political leaders, traditional rulers, civil society groups and citizens within and outside the state.
