These were the exact words of The Executive Chairman of Sagbama LGA~ Hon. Embeleakpo P Alale , shortly after the incumbent Senator Henry Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa West) was declared unopposed, sole candidate of the PDP Bayelsa West for 2023 polls, following the withdrawal of an aspirant, Mr Donald Daunemigha from the Senatorial race.
His words: “As Chairman of Sagbama LGA and one of the stakeholders in Bayelsa West, I wish to convey my profound appreciation to the Leader of our party in the State, Gov. Douye Diri who has so far provided rock solid leadership in steering the ship of the PDP, resulting in the selection of only the best candidates to fly our party flag across the State.
As a Vocal Voice for the Ijaw Nation, HSD, the Adaka De 2nd is undoubtedly the preferred candidate to protect the collective strategic interest of our people, at this very critical moment in our nation’s evolution. HSD’s impeccable credentials and sterling performance in the Red Chambers is simply unprecedented.
His philosophical grasp of burning issues within and beyond the Nigerian polity is phenomenal.
