Helen Inafa Bob Marks 53rd Birthday with Launch of Three Inspirational Books

The Honourable Federal Commissioner representing Bayelsa State at the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Dr. Helen Inafa Bob, will celebrate her 53rd birthday with the unveiling of three inspirational books aimed at promoting leadership, personal development, and youth empowerment.

The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the Chief DSP Alamieyeseigha Memorial Banquet Hall, Government House, Yenagoa, with proceedings expected to commence promptly at 2:00 p.m.

The books to be unveiled include Guiding Light, Vision for the Future, and The Girls Lead, publications that organisers say reflect Dr. Bob’s passion for mentorship, purposeful leadership, and the development of future generations.

The book launch is expected to attract government officials, traditional rulers, professionals, academics, women leaders, youth groups, and other distinguished guests from across Bayelsa State and beyond.

Observers describe the event as more than a birthday celebration, noting that it represents a significant contribution to intellectual and social development through literature. The books are expected to offer practical insights on leadership, vision-building, character development, and the empowerment of young people, particularly girls.

Over the years, Dr. Helen Inafa Bob has earned recognition for her service in public administration and her commitment to initiatives that promote sustainable development and human capacity building. The forthcoming launch is seen as another milestone in her efforts to inspire positive change through knowledge-sharing and advocacy.

Organisers have encouraged invited guests to attend in purple and white attire, the official colour theme for the occasion.

As anticipation builds ahead of the ceremony, many stakeholders have expressed optimism that the books will contribute meaningfully to conversations around leadership, education, and societal transformation while celebrating the life and achievements of one of Bayelsa State’s notable public servants.

The event is expected to combine literary engagement with celebration, creating a platform for reflection, inspiration, and recognition of excellence in service and leadership.
