Group Solicits Ambassador David Olali Eliemen’s Support to Convince Engr. Gospel Obolo to Contest for Any Political Office in Bayelsa
Leaders of various concerned socio-political groups have called on business tycoon to contest for any political office in Bayelsa State based on his track record in various critical sectors of the economy.
The group met with a strong ally of the Ogbia-born entertainment, sports expert and promoter, Ambassador David Olali Eliemen, to convince him to contest for political office in the Bayelsa State and Nigeria at large.
According to Ambassador David Olali Eliemen, Engr Gospel Obolo is a renowned international businessman, tourism, sport, and entertainment tycoon. He is from Ogbia kingdom, who is not ready to contest for any political office for reasons known to him.
Ambassador Eliemen said he does not want to contest for any political office in Nigeria but always wants to remain in Turkey, and focus more on building his businesses in Nigeria and other cities.
In a live interview with Molainfo TV, Ambassador David Olali Eliemen said, Engr Gospel Obolo has made remarkable achievement over the years, he is the former vice president kickboxing federation of Nigeria; president south south kickboxing association, Board members representing south south (KBFN), coordinator and chairman of Bayelsa state kickboxing Association chairman.
He sponsored a national kickboxing championship for 5 seasons from 2016 to 2023, tagged the battle of the mangrove, and also sponsored a national kickboxing open champions 2018.
He sponsored the Governor Seriake Dickson National kickboxing open championship.
Engr Gospel Obolo in 2020 sponsored the ogbia Traditional wrestling championship and also sponsored the Niger Delta Traditional wrestling championship in 2023.
He highlighted some of Engr Gospel Obolo’s achievements to include bringing a white man Anthony Ford from Canada to come and fight a professional title belt fight with a Nigeria Menia Jack here in Bayelsa state Yenagoa.
He is the first to have a fabrication yard in Bayelsa, and he said he is the one who brought Ge Engineering Fabrication Company at Imiringi Road.
He is also one of the first to become a project director to build Edo State gas gathering. Right now, he is building the one at Delta stats at Ughelli. He is also the first black to have a football academic in Turkey at Altalia.
