# Former Bayelsa Governor, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, Celebrates Brother’s PhD Achievement

Yenagoa – Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, former Governor of Bayelsa State and current senator representing Bayelsa West, has congratulated his younger brother, Dr. Moses Oruaze Dickson, on his recent PhD achievement.

In a heartwarming ceremony, Dr. Moses Oruaze Dickson officially presented his PhD degree to Senator Dickson, who expressed immense pride and joy at his brother’s accomplishment.

According to Senator Dickson, Dr. Moses Oruaze Dickson’s achievement is significant for two reasons: he is the first PhD holder in their family, and it fulfills Senator Dickson’s own unfulfilled dreams.

Senator Dickson recounted his words of encouragement to his brother, urging him to “go to the depth of the sea and fish” and “learn to fish in deep waters.” He emphasized the importance of striving for excellence and exploring new frontiers.

The former governor expects Dr. Moses Oruaze Dickson to leverage his PhD to become a professor or a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in the near future. He wished his brother God’s guidance and blessings in his endeavors and encouraged him to uphold the family’s values of hard work, honor, courage, and service.

The ceremony was a momentous occasion for the Dickson family, marking a significant milestone in their academic and professional journey.
