Ace comedian and entertainer EDEREFO ELIJAH aka MC KOBOKO has admonished Bayelsa youths on the need to be civil in addressing their leaders across party lines.

Speaking on Monday 28th of August,2023 on Rhythm Fm yenagao, said he has observed with dismay the arrogant attitude of some youths as it relates to their political leaders especially those of the opposition parties.
He noticed that some of the youths now resort to verbal insults and in most cases using derogatory remarks on leaders just to prove to their paymasters that they are working for their interest.
Elections and campaigns will come and go but we must remember that our leaders will always be our leaders.
Politicians do not stay in one party forever as changing political parties is a common feature with politicians, so therefore it is immature for a youth to engage in a personal vendetta against a politician all in a bid to please your paymaster who may likely decamp to meet the same man you are insulting.
Speaking further on the choice of his candidate in the forthcoming governorship election in Bayelsa state, he said he would rather focus on the development of bayelsa state and pray that someday Bayelsa can truly be made the Dubai of Africa and therefore will only give his support to that candidate who has this vision for Bayelsa.
Bayelsa has so much resources yet the people still live in abject poverty and this calls for serious concern because they are never met to pass through this kind of excruciating hardship they have been used to for decades, the state is blessed beyond measure.

He therefore called on Bayelsa youths to call on their leaders across party lines to focus on the development of the state instead of being divided along party lines, in his words “Politics is meant to build and develop us, rather than dividing us as a people”

He therefore prayed for the freedom of the statement from the shackles of underdeveloped.
