Diri Joining APC Will Attract More Development – APC Chieftain Chief Pastor Reuben

All Progressives Congress, APC chieftain and founder Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability, PRIFGLA, Chief Pastor Reuben Clifford Wilson, has welcomed the possible defection of Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Wilson who is a member governing Council University of Uyo stated this on the rumoured defection of DIri to the All Progressives Congress, APC said it’s a welcome development.
He noted the detection will enable the state to tap into federal projects and development initiatives,, emphasizing that alignment with the ruling party at the centre is crucial for the state’s progress.
He cited the case of the Akwa Ibom State Governor who recently defected from the PDP to the APC which is yielding dividends as the federal government has started the deep seaport and other development projects in the state.
Reuben Wilson who is also the south South Coordinator of the Asiwaju Group, highlighted potential benefits of Governor Douye Diri’s possible defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying that the Federal Government’s potential takeover of Bayelsa’s multi-billion Naira projects could free up state funds for other development initiatives, ultimately benefiting the state.
He added that those disgruntled politicians forming a coalition intending to unseat Mr. President should rather join forces with him considering the development strides of the present administration, insisting that no gang up against Tinubu will succeed.
He dismissed the possibility of the ADC coalition making meaningful impact ahead of the 2027 general elections and vowed to mobilsed to ensure that the votes that will be declared come 2027 will surpass that of 2023.
Wilson predicted that with Governor Diri’s defection, APC would have a strong foothold in Bayelsa State, potentially leading to a convincing win in the 2027 elections.
