DEFECTION CLAIMS: SAGBAMA PROSPERITY HOUSE REACTS TO GEORGE TURNER’S UNFOUNDED ALLEGATIONS
DEFECTION CLAIMS: SAGBAMA PROSPERITY HOUSE REACTS TO GEORGE TURNER’S UNFOUNDED ALLEGATIONS

The recent press release titled “Defection: We Have Capacity to Retain Bayelsa; Diri Won’t Be Missed” is quite telling. While we respect the right to free speech, the content of the release seems more like a desperate attempt to cling to power rather than a substantive political argument.
Let’s be real: George Turner is not a known figure in Bayelsa State or beyond. No well-meaning Bayelsan will take his press release seriously, given his lack of electoral capacity. It’s laughable that someone who couldn’t win a councilorship election in his ward claims the PDP can retain Bayelsa State without credible leadership.
In Bayelsa State and Nigerian politics, George Turner isn’t a household name or a political heavyweight. His claims about the PDP’s strength are hollow without a leader who inspires confidence. We must remind you that the authentic Chairman of PDP known to the party hierarchy and national leadership is Chief Solomon Agwana, not George Turner.
It’s evident that George Turner is an impostor, sowing seeds of discord within Bayelsa PDP. His actions are nothing but grandstanding, aimed at creating confusion and undermining the party’s stability. If Governor Diri leaves PDP, the party will likely crumble in the state under Turner’s self-acclaim leadership.
Bayelsans should regard George Turner’s statement as hollow and without substance. His claims should be seen as the ranting of an ant, lacking any real weight or significance. The people of Bayelsa State deserve better than this kind of petty politicking.
We urge George Turner to focus on something meaningful rather than issuing press releases that lack substance. His attempts to manipulate public opinion will not succeed. The PDP in Bayelsa State is bigger than George Turner’s ego.
The welfare and progress of Bayelsa State should be our top priority. Worthless political posturing won’t take George Turner far. Let’s work together to build a better future for our state, rather than engaging in petty squabbles and power struggles.
In conclusion, we advise George Turner to desist from further grandstanding and recognize his limitations. Bayelsa State has better leaders to look up to, and we won’t be swayed by Turner’s empty claims.
