Okaka Community Field came alive in a blaze of colour, culture and celebrity presence on Saturday, 31st January 2026, as friends, family and well-wishers gathered for the much-talked-about traditional marriage of Saviour & Bob.

Adding prestige to the memorable ceremony was the attendance of Chief Pastor Reuben, Founder of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability (PRIFGLA) and member governing Council university of Uyo Akwa Ibom State whose presence drew admiration from guests and community leaders alike. Arriving to warm applause shortly before the rites commenced at 2:00pm, Pastor Reuben blended grace, elegance and moral authority, reinforcing the values of love, responsibility and leadership that the occasion symbolised.

Dressed in regal traditional attire, the couple dazzled as they observed age-long customs amid music with junior Barrister, dance and cheers from an excited crowd. The ceremony was a perfect fusion of tradition and modern glamour, turning the Okaka Community Field into a cultural theatre of joy.

Speaking with TvAfrica24 reporters at the event, Pastor Reuben described the union as timely and symbolic.

“Marriage is not just about love; it is about accountability, leadership and shared responsibility. Today, Saviour and Bob have shown that commitment is the foundation upon which strong families and communities are built,” he said.

He further charged the couple to see their union as a partnership anchored on integrity and mutual respect.

“A good home produces good leaders. When families are built on truth and understanding, society becomes stronger,” Pastor Reuben added, drawing nods of approval from elders and guests.

Several dignitaries and social figures present praised the couple for hosting a well-organised and culturally rich ceremony. A guest at the event remarked,
